Chelsea, MI – The Chelsea Education Foundation (CEF) proudly presented Scholarship Awards to 2025 graduates at the recent Senior Awards Night. During the event, CEF Board members, scholarship sponsors, Chelsea Alumni Association members, and volunteers joined together to celebrate graduating seniors and award $36,900 in 37 individual scholarships to 29 recipients.
Since 2001, CEF has awarded over 1,130 scholarships to students recognized for their character, academic achievement, and community service. This year’s scholarships were presented to the following students:
Joseph Piasecki Memorial Scholarship – Lauren Thompson
CEF Academic Scholarship – Slater Boos, Samuel Borcherding, Emily Heiss, Hayley Hopkins, Clara Johnson, Sophia Knickerbocker, Maggie McKale, Mason Purdy, Sophia Saffian, Helen Sparks-Jackson
CEF Community Service Scholarship – Hayley Hopkins, Josie Jackson, Mason Purdy, Sonja Schemahorn, Helen Sparks-Jackson
CEF A.C.E. (Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering) Scholarship – Luke Mourad
