Happy New Year, CEF Supporters! Despite the continued challenges of the pandemic, exciting things are brewing at CEF in 2022!
Earlier this week, we closed the application window for our second grant cycle of the school year. Stay tuned for an announcement of the grants that have been awarded funding! In our first cycle, we funded more than $19,000 in grants to Chelsea School District teachers and support staff. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, we continue to be able to fund these projects that enhance the work of our wonderful school community.
Back by popular demand, we will hold our mini-photo fundraiser again this spring! Sessions will be available with Mark Bogarin Photography for $100 per 20 minute session on April 9, 23, and 30. Watch for links to sign up on Facebook, Instagram and the CEF website soon.
Last but not least, please join former CEF board member Sharee Burkel as she moderates “Charitable Giving - Give the Gifts that Give Back!” at the Chelsea District Library on May 11 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The seminar will feature panelists: Mary Jovanovich, Financial Advisor; Sue Jacobs, CPA; Laurie Brewis, Estate Planning; and Randy Ross, Philanthropic Services, as they discuss ways individuals can make the most impact through informed charitable giving. Register here to seize the opportunity and learn more about making the most impact through informed charitable giving.
